NJ MORE Field Guide College

My journey at NJMORE Field Guide College

It is always gratifying to get feedback from our students about what they’ve learnt and experienced during their time with us. William Knight, one of the students from our January intake had this to say:

“When I joined NJ More Field Guide College I had the amazing opportunity to follow my dream of becoming a Field Guide. If you, like myself, have a passion and love for our wildlife then there is no better place to learn then right here. The exceptional experience and knowledge of the trainers will have you hungry for more! You’ll gain the necessary tools to become an exceptional guide and this will set you apart from the rest! The friends and memories you make will last a lifetime!

I am truly grateful and the past six months has been an incredible journey a journey you should experience!

Thank you for keeping the fire burning strong inside me, all the knowledge past over and the fun memories I will cherish forever!

With the Marataba reserve as not only their backdrop but also your backyard, students have the perfect opportunity to spot and capture a pic of an array of wildlife. Could gaining knowledge on how to become guide be more exciting? We think not!

This week we said goodbye to Isabelle and Philip, who were part of the NJ MORE Guide Experience course. They made such a positive impact on the rest of the students during their time spent with us. Thank you for not only being wonderful students, lovely friends and teammates too! Good luck with the rest of your journey.

Our students are busy preparing for their The Field Guides Association of Southern Africa Apprentice Field Guide exams. Part of their assessment is being able to interpret their surroundings, and convey their interpretations to their guests. Here you can see student Werner Lilje working on his skills.

Good luck to all the students!
